How to manage your money, your career, and your retirement: Financial advisors explain why they’re here
- by admin
A new financial advisory class is taking place this week, offering a detailed explanation of how to manage money, manage your career and your money.
The course, which will be held in New York on Saturday and Sunday, will offer a deeper dive into financial planning and investment strategies, the professors said in a statement.
It is designed to give students a more complete understanding of the financial aspects of a career and to provide a deeper understanding of how investment decisions and investment choices can impact the financial future of individuals, the college said.
The class will include professors from the Harvard Business School, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the George Washington University School of Government and the University at Buffalo School of Management, the students said.
They will also receive support from the University’s School of Economic, Business and Management, and the Center for Global Economic Studies.
The Financial Choice Series, a class that began in 2015, focuses on the intersection of financial management, the pursuit of a meaningful retirement and the development of the future.
The students said they are excited about the event and its potential to change the way people view their financial futures.
“I am really excited to have this class with people who are very interested in the subject matter, who are working on this subject, and are looking for more,” said graduate student Michael B. Brown, who will take the course as a sophomore.
“This class is the first opportunity to learn how to become a better financial advisor.
And that is the kind of person I want to be.”
To attend the class, students must register online at https://www.unb.edu/classes/finance-choice.
The school’s Finance Choice class will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, March 5, at the UB Booth School campus, according to the school.
